ABC's and 123's
I was looking for ideas for Alfie's birthday (things with the number 1 on) and came across these lovely bags. Wouldn't the number bags make really cute party bags? And I love the idea of giving a present to someone in a bag with their initial on. You can find these at Alphabet Bags.

Going Commando
Isn't this really cool for a boys room? It's from Philip Watts Design, available at Not on the High Street.

Bonfire night
Happy 5th November! I had planned sparklers with Jamie and Alfie in the garden but it's raining and Alfie has a cold :( so Alfie's tucked up in bed and me and Jamie are watching the fireworks from the window whilst Neil cooks my tea (yes, I know I'm lucky!)
This weekend Jamie's requested we get the play-doh out, so that's what we're doing tomorrow. As it's so cold at the moment I think we'll make some yummy warming soup too...

Pretty notebooks
I'm a sucker for notebooks. Especially gorgeous ones like these. I'm a complete list-maker - at the moment I have lists of ideas for Christmas presents, a list of to-do's for Alfie's first birthday party (I'll be sharing the details of this with you soon!), a very long list of diy jobs that I'd like to get on with around the house, a list of food I need to buy this week......you see? lists for everything. But, it makes me feel ordered and organised and that makes me feel like I can tackle anything.
These beauties are available from here, here, and here.
