This outdoor wedding looks so pretty.  (I have yet to go to a wedding where the meal is eaten outdoors, and this one makes me really want to!)  I can just imagine drinking champagne and eating food as the sun sets.  The peonies (my favourite) are beautiful too.

Moving party

Victoria over at A Subtle revelry organised a last minute party for her children on their moving day.  Isn't the duct tape on the wall a brilliant touch?  She says the children loved throwing little plastic balls in the huge removal truck.  What a fab way of making the day enjoyable for little ones!

Beep beep

How cute are these little cars from Toyella?  I love them because both my boys would be able to play with these.  They also have rubber coated wheels so they are silent (yay!)  Always a bonus.

Diy memory game

I'm always on the lookout for different ways to entertain the boys...especially in this unpredictable english weather!  This idea really appeals to me as it seems quite straightforward to make and I can use up all those little bit of fabric I have lying around.  You can find the template and instructions here, at the lovely Inchmark blog.

Cool treats

Ok, so I will DEFINITELY be having a go at making these beauties. These have been made by pureeing fruit and pouring into empty yoghurt pots (a great way of recycling).  I think I'll be trying yoghurt pops, strawberry pops and good old-fashioned orange pops.

Gorgeous beach wedding

Sigh.  How dreamy is this Mexican beach wedding?  So relaxed and pretty.  The couple told their friends and family that they were going on holiday, would be getting married whilst they were there, and would love it if they could join them.  Fab!

I love all the individual cupcake style of wedding cakes but there is something so lovely about the traditional tiered style.  The ruffled cake is just gorgeous.  At our wedding we had a three tier cake, with one sponge layer and two carrot-cake layers.  Yum!

I so want a teepee for my boys to play in.  (Does anyone know where I can find a white teepee in the UK?)  I just love the idea of having a quiet little space they can hide and play.  Find these here, here, here and here.

Stripes?  Check.  Gorgeous colours?  Check.  Cute idea?  Check.  These wedding crasher invitations are ace.  I've been coveting striped bags like these ones for a while so I'll be saving this idea.  The mini tags tied around the invite are such a lovely finishing touch too.

Anthropologie

I want to have a party with these gorgeous items from Anthropologie.  I would throw a white tablecloth on the table outside, fill the large bowls with a yummy salad, and the little bowls with tiny treats such as feta cheese and salami.  Add a couple of big jugs filled with a summer cocktail and that would be my idea of a lovely summer party.
