Royal Wedding

Excited for the Royal Wedding tomorrow!  Well, more than anything I can't wait to see Kate's dress, I think she's going to look beautiful.  It's been so nice to see bunting and flags hanging everywhere.  We'll be having a little party in honour of them, I hope whatever you do is fun too :)

Kids superhero Party

There are so many brilliant blogs and websites around that I could quite happily sit down all day and browse around for ideas and inspiration.  One of the blogs I have just found is Imprintables, which features some gorgeous party ideas.  This party was created for a brother and sister.  I would love to set up a sweetie and cake stall like this!  And the thank you notes are so cute.

Yellow

I am very into yellow at the moment, it's just such a happy and summery colour.  Aren't this brides' shoes just fantastic?  I think shorter wedding dresses are just so pretty.  If you look at the full album of this wedding you'll see the bride has used yellow throughout (the pale yellow cupcakes are just beautiful) but in a subtle, refined way.

The park

My little man giggled and giggled as he crawled in the grass when we visited the park. What a great way to spend an afternoon :)

Playhouse

I don't know about you but if I was little again I would absolutely love this!  What a great idea.  So simple and it looks great.  I can see this keeping my boys entertained for a long time.

Summer dress

Cheep Cheep

I can't believe it's nearly Easter already, time is flying by!  This weekend I'm planning to decorate eggs with Jamie (my Dad is the expert at this, he used to ALWAYS win the parents' competitions when I was at school).  I'm hoping that the weather will be good enough over the Easter weekend for an egg hunt in the garden, but if not I'm sure we'll be able to do it inside.

I think this cosy cushion would look gorgeous at the kitchen table on Easter morning. Those little legs! x

Home-made jam cookies

Is it me or do these look scrumptious?!  They appear to be really easy to make too, definitely one to try on a rainy day.  I think they would make such a pretty gift for someone too.  The recipe for these lovelies is here.

Just came across this gorgeous website for Children's things, Sparkle & Spin.  I've fallen in love with everything - I've seen oh-so-cute tops for my boys, little gifts for my nieces, and lots of lovely things for kids' rooms.

Cupcakes

I'm a big fan of flags on cupcakes, I think they're a brilliant way of making a celebration look pretty.  These tall flags are fantastic :)
