I'll take one of each, please! These beautiful dresses are from Whistles and Warehouse, and are available at Asos. Hope you have a wonderful New Years' Eve tomorrow!

Warm blankets
It's definitely the weather for wrapping up warm. These blankets from Ocabini look lovely and toasty, and I'm a sucker for stripes.
p.s. Did you have a good Christmas? We're just back from our second Christmas day at my Mums house (yes, that means we've had two Christmas dinners!) and it was fab. Really nice. Hope yours has been good too.

Merry Christmas
I cannot believe it's the 23rd. Where has December gone? Thankfully I'm pretty much sorted - all the presents have arrived, all the food's in the fridge. Tomorrow night I'll be wrapping the rest of the presents (not that many, thankfully), watching a film and having some nice food and a glass of wine. Jamie's job tomorrow night: put out snacks for Father Christmas. I have it on good authority that he's rather partial to chocolate chip muffins, so we've got an extra large one to leave for him. And of course, a carrot for Rudolph.

Royal wedding for kids
Early Learning Centre are bringing out this cute Royal wedding set in February. I think it's quite sweet! A nice way to get little ones involved in the event. The Queen's my favourite!!

Christmas traditions
My friends and I always meet up just before Christmas to swap presents, catch up with each other - it's become a little tradition of ours. I love hearing about everyone's different traditions they have. Tomorrow night my friends are coming to mine, and we're having some warming beef stew and mash followed by cookies (if we can fit them in!) Can't wait.

Kid O
Have you heard of Kid O? They have the most beautiful toys and childrens furniture on the website, and some fascinating information about children and learning.
If we had a playroom (and I would love one!) I would like one of these chairs...
I would get some puzzles like this for Jamie...
And some coloured blocks and little cars for Alfie. Now I just need to find somewhere that stocks them over here...

Christmas gift Idea
I think this is such a great idea for giving a gift. You can see the gorgeous presents inside, you can use the jar afterwards...I would be very happy with this underneath the tree on Christmas morning!

Little kitchen
I think this is the cutest play-kitchen I've seen. I can see me and Jamie making lots of meals and cups of tea here! Buy it from Ikea.

Chocolate biscuits
I cannot help myself around chocolate. I will always finish the bar off, as much as I might try and pretend I'll only have a little piece...but we all have our weaknesses, right?! These biscuits are from a Jamie Oliver recipe (find it here), and it says they are easy to make. Definitely an idea for this weekend when it's meant to be cold.

Pretty home
Oh my goodness I love this home! I love the huge mirror over the fireplace, lovely and cosy. The painted doors in the kitchen are such a genius idea too. And isn't there something so comforting about that quilt on the bed? Beautiful.

Isn't this wooden puzzle clever? Fun + educational = my kind of toy. You can buy this from Muji.

Alfie's first birthday party
At the weekend we celebrated Alfie's first birthday with a party. I kept to the simple colours of red, white and blue for the theme, including the invitations we gave. The grown ups ate Chilli con carne, garlic bread, tortilla chips and dips and the little ones ate mini hotdogs in buns and chips. We had a brilliant time, and the birthday boy loved having everyone around :)
Baubles
I spotted these lovely Christmas baubles at The White Company (one of my favourite shops) whilst out shopping today. So pretty. Our tree will be going up on Saturday, and Jamie can't wait!

Gifts for foodies
Wouldn't these items from Jamie Oliver make fab Christmas presents for someone? Bonus: they are so gorgeously packaged, they wouldn't need to be wrapped up. Some ribbon, luggage tags like these and you're done. Perfect!

Baby blocks
Love these. These are definitely the kind of toy you wouldn't mind being left out in your living room. Find them at Red Direct.

Alfie
This is Alfie with the gorgeous grey and white striped blanket we got him for his first birthday (I think it's nice to get items for special birthdays that can be kept for years and years). He seems to like it doesn't he?! It'll keep him lovely and warm in this weather too.

Happy weekend
I can't believe it's Friday already! This week has flown by. We are having Alfie's birthday party this weekend (as I write this I'm sat on the floor surrounded by ribbons and balloons - pictures to follow, I promise). Hope you all have a good weekend :)
