My best friend flies to Thailand tonight for a 3 week holiday (I know, 3 weeks!) and I know they will have a fab time exploring and sightseeing. I can't wait to look at all her photographs and hear all about it.

Cath Kidston Christmas
How lovely is this pattern? It's one of the new Christmas card designs from Cath Kidston, and as well as looking beautiful, sales of these support Marie Curie Cancer care. Gorgeous!!

Cute gifts
I was browsing Dwell Studio's website and came across these gifts for children. The wooden puzzle is my favourite!

21.10.10
On October 21st we celebrated our 5th Wedding anniversary (it's gone really really quickly!) So, to surprise my husband I wrapped 5 presents, made 5 cards, and made muffins for breakfast. I made little toppers for the cupcakes from our wedding pictures. We went out for a gorgeous meal in the evening too.

Personalised wedding decorations
I think that putting a lot of thought and care into your wedding makes for a beautiful day loved by everyone. I love these ideas of personalising the wedding decorations and favours. At our wedding I made the namecards and wrote the meaning of the person's name on the back - it got everyone talking at the tables and it was nice learning what the different names meant! The favour tins would make very cute little christmas gifts too...

Aren't these pillowcases and duvet covers gorgeous? I love the mix of candy colours and stripes.

Beautiful biscuits
This is almost too pretty to be eaten. I wonder if it tastes as good as it looks?

Covet Garden
Have you seen Covet garden magazine? It's an online magazine focusing on the homes of real people. This issue looks at the home of Shelley and Brendon, and their little baby girl, Clover (such a cute name). Be warned, you will drool over the beautiful photos!

Maps
We've always said that we'll make sure our boys know their geography, and I'm loving these maps. I love, love, love the map where you scratch off where you've visited.

Celebrate!
Tonight we are celebrating Alfie having the plaster cast on his hips and legs removed. For 16 weeks Alfie has worn the cast after having an operation when he was 6 months old and now, it has finally been removed!! We are over the moon. His legs are just as gorgeous and chubby as before. We are celebrating with fish and chips, and champagne. Alfie's first birthday is coming up soon so we will be having a big party for him, he deserves it!

The Boys
My boys. These pictures pretty much sum up the cheekiness and messiness of these two chaps. Alfie (our youngest, 10 months old) is a very wriggly baby and loves nothing better than wriggling whilst I attempt to feed him! Jamie is at that brilliant stage where he's getting excited for Christmas. If he sees something he likes he tells me he'll ask Father Christmas for it (the list is pretty long already...) I've already got a few ideas to make it extra-exciting for him - not that I think he needs it!

Wedding dresses
I love all things wedding. The stationery, flowers, favours, dresses: everything. My 5 year wedding anniversary is coming up soon and I would love to do something special to mark it. Any ideas? These beautiful dresses sum up my idea of a perfect wedding - simple, stunning, and laid-back.

Miniatures
Today me and Jamie played shops with these food / games / household miniatures. They are TINY. So much fun to play shops with. Jamie makes an excellent shopkeeper!
Baby things
I love these baby bodysuits, especially the grey and white striped one - gorgeous!

Cuteness
Random cuteness from my 3 year old, Jamie: "When I grow up, I want to be a fireman.....or Mickey Mouse". And recently, when I've explained that someone might buy our house and we'll move, he looked very puzzled and asked how the people who buy the house will pick it up and move it. I love him and his cuteness!

Cupboard Love
I have a thing for cupboards. And drawers. And white. My family and friends know about my obsession with white (them - what colour are you decorating this room? me - umm...white?!) You get the idea. If I had more pennies this kitchen from Plain english would be top of my list. Yum.
